The Jazzy Jewelz Studio's Children's Parties

We offer a variety of party packages customised according to age, gender and number of children.

Depending on the option chosen the duration of the creative activity varies from 60 min to up to 2 hours. This reflects the fact that children's attention span, as measured by sustained attention, varies with age. While older children are capable of longer periods of attention we believe that younger children benefit from being engaged in creative projects can be completed in a relatively short period of time. It is normal for the children to work at slightly different paces but we'll make sure there is a continuous flow of activities to keep them occupied and having fun. So, at our parties, everyone - whatever their age - can have fun making jewellery and accessories and go home with a creation they’ll be proud to wear.

Prices* include invitations, materials, use of tools, expertise, time, a gift bag for each child to keep their creation in, and a special gift for the birthday girl.
A non-refundable deposit of £ 30.00 is required to secure your booking, with the final balance due on the day of the party.

* Locations further than 10 mile radius from Cambridge are subject to a travel supplement of £ 5.00 to cover additional mileage and time.

Little jewels ( for ages 4-7)

This party package is recommended for younger girls as no tool are required to complete the projects.

The jewellery-making session will last approximately 60-75 min depending on the number of children.

At the party the children will get to choose their own beads from a large selection of colourful lucite beads and "grown-up" sparkly silver plated beads, design and make their own unique pieces of jewellery and finally decorate jewellery boxes to keep their creations in.

They will make an elasticated necklace and a second item of their choice choosing from a bracelet, a bookmark, a bag charm, phone charm or a pair of clip-on earrings.

Price £ 85 for up to 8 children. Additional guests £ 9.00 each.

Sweet Delights - ( for ages 7- upwards)

The girls will learn to use memory wire to make their jewellery pieces. Memory wire is a tempered stainless steel wire that has been specifically hardened so that it will springs back to shape when expanded and released.

Bracelets and necklaces are very easy to put on and take off as there are no fiddly clasps to open and close. Older girls will learn to use pliers to make small dangling charms to add to their creations.

90 minutes of jewellery-making time during which the children can make make as many items of jewellery they can manage!. Tipically each child goes home with two or three finished items.

Price £ 100 for up to 8 children. Additional guests, £ 12.00 each.

Charming Treasures- ( for ages 10-upwards)

The perfect party for girls who want to get together with their friends and do something a little more "grown up".

In this package the children will be introduced to the wirework technique and will learn to use pliers to execute simple jewellery-making tasks (such as opening and closing jumprings, making single wire loops and wrapped wired loops...)
The girls will have a large selection of high quality colourful resin, millefiori glass beads, imitation pearls and charms in different shapes and materials to choose from.
Each child will make a colourful silver plated charm bracelet which they will take home in a pretty organza bag. A great jewellery making project for children and Mums alike!
The jewellery-making session will last up to 2hrs.

Little Designer Party ( for ages 9-upwards)

The ultimate party for creative girls!

A great party package for two hours of creative fun!

This option is suitable for older children (9+). It is a variation of our "Introduction to Jewellery Making" Workshop (details of which will appear soon on this website) with jewellery design projects adapted to suit different age groups.

During the party, after being given a brief introduction on jewellery design, the girls will learn to use tools to execute simple jewellery-making tasks (such as opening and closing jumprings, making single wire loops and wrapped wired loops, adding clasps etc..). They will then apply these techniques to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, bag charms, phone charms and more.

The girls will be working with high quality, professional tools and jewellery making materials such as various types of wire, tiger tail, assorted silver plated findings & beautiful glass beads to create some fantastic jewellery pieces.

The jewellery-making session will last up to 2hrs, depending on the number of children.

Each guest will make three/four items of jewellery to take home in our lovely gift bags.

The JJS Designer Party costs £120 for up to 8 children. Additional guests £12 each

In the first instance please email or phone us to check to check availability. Once your party is provisionally booked, please download and print off the booking form, fill it in and return it to us signed with a deposit cheque.

Booking confirmation and party invitations will be sent out on receipt of the completed booking form & deposit.

A day or two before your party, we will call you to re-confirm and to check if any of the details have changed.
